Volunteer or foster with an animal rescue in Pakistan
Rescue needs more than money. It needs drivers, feeders, fosters, photographers, designers, spreadsheet people and anyone with a spare Saturday in Islamabad or Rawalpindi. If you've been looking for a way to be useful — this is it.
Pick a job that fits your life
You don't need to be at the shelter to be genuinely useful. Half of what keeps us running happens on a laptop.
Rescue & transport
Have a vehicle? Driving an animal to the vet is one of the highest-impact things anyone can do for us.
Feeding rounds
Join an evening route feeding community dogs and cats, or take on a route in your own neighbourhood.
Shelter shifts
Cleaning, feeding, walking, socialising nervous animals and helping with medications at the sanctuary.
Photo & video
Good photos get animals adopted and get rescues funded. This is not a small thing.
Social media & admin
Writing captions, replying to messages, keeping records, chasing donations, building spreadsheets.
Fundraising & outreach
Run a campus drive, a bake sale, a birthday fundraiser or a corporate ask. We'll give you the materials.
Volunteers must be 16+ (or accompanied by a guardian), and shelter work means dust, noise, and animals that may be frightened. It is not glamorous. It is, however, the most worthwhile way we know to spend a Saturday.
Lend a room. Save a life.
Fostering means keeping a rescued animal in your home temporarily — usually two to eight weeks — while it recovers or waits for adoption. Every foster place frees a space at the sanctuary for the next emergency.
We provide: food, medication, veterinary cover and round-the-clock advice. You provide: a safe indoor space, time and patience.
Fosters are needed most for orphaned kittens and puppies, post-operative recovery cases, and dogs who simply don't cope with kennel life.
